**Description:** Determine inspection operations by directive, preliminary engineering, sketches, blueprints, specifications and Standard Practice, To verify and interpret data printouts to verify configuration and other pertinent specifications are acceptable. Verify installation and precision mating/fitting which have been based on these layouts for satisfactory workmanship, functioning and completion. Inspect in-process and completed detail parts, and paint to insure quality requirements are met.
Inspects and approves acceptable parts and inspects/accepts rejected items after rework or repair. Completes or approves records of operations performed and maintains inspection reports and records as required. May perform surveillance inspection, material review work and other related inspection assignments incidental to the primary duties described herein.
