Based on the feedback received from the Fire Team and the observations made during the DCD inspection, water accumulation occurs inside the fire pump room during fire pump operation due to inadequate drainage capacity. The existing drainage arrangement is insufficient to handle the volume of discharged water, resulting in standing water within the pump room, which may affect equipment safety, maintenance accessibility, and compliance with DCD requirements.
To address this issue, it is recommended to enhance the existing drainage system by providing additional drainage channels, installing one new drainage outlet connected to the main drainage line, and incorporating a controlled drainage line with an isolation valve for regulated water discharge.
