Position Summary

North Island College is seeking a knowledgeable and culturally grounded instructor to teach english as a sessional faculty member within the Awi’nakola Program. This role supports students by delivering foundational academic courses in ways that may honour Indigenous knowledge, community priorities, and culturally grounded approaches. These continuing sections run across the fall 2026 and winter 2027 terms at the Mixalakwila campus (Port Hardy).

Combined section of ENG 028/035/052/096. In person, Tuesday and Thursday, 1:00PM to 2:30PM.

The teaching faculty of North Island College are responsible for implementing the College’s vision, goals, and objectives as they relate to teaching and learning.
