About the job Instrument Technician INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT BUSINESS UNIT: Shafts  CLOSING DATE: PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To safely design, install, fault find, repair and maintain instrumentation and IT equipment and infrastructure. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or NQF 4 Equivalent Instrumentation Trade Certificate Instrumentation National Diploma 2-3 Years Instrument Technician experience. 3 Years Instrumentation Mechanician experience within a mining environment. Experience in setting up Industrial IT networking. Siemens PRO1 and PRO2 Training completed. (Advantageous) Siemens Step7, TIA Portal Programming and IFix Scada competent.
