Overview

We are looking for an instrument technician for a permanent position in the sterilization team of Siltasairaala's operating unit. The start date is 17.8.2026 or by agreement.

Responsibilities

As an instrument technician you will maintain surgical instruments and devices used in patient examination and treatment in both customer units and the central sterilization unit. Your duties include the entire sterilization process: pre‑treatment, washing and disinfection, drying, packaging, sterilization and distribution. You will also perform maintenance of endoscopes in the operating unit, ensuring aseptic conditions and patient safety. The work runs three‑shift, Monday to Friday, in an operating unit that specializes in orthopedics, traumatology, neurosurgery, hand surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and plastic surgery.
