Job Summary
Reporting to the Utilities Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the configuration, installation, removal, programming and maintenance of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Controls/Automations Systems on the University Campus.
Key Responsibilities
Installs, repairs, maintains, calibrates and commissions ventilation equipment, thermostats, sensors, controllers, variable speed drives and related controls equipmentConfigures , troubleshoots, installs and programs electronic controllersPerforms preventive maintenance tasks on designated HVAC related equipmentPrograms building automation systems to meet occupancy needs while maximizing energy efficiencyServices low voltage controls wiringMakes recommendations for upgrading, enhancing and/or retrofitting existing equipmentPerforms all duties in accordance with the current Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety Ac...
