STARTING AT $42,459, PURSUANT TO THE RULES OF THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:The Insurance Clerk is directly responsible to the Director of Insurance and performs various dutiesrelated to the processing of insurance applications, billings and claims.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Communicates with insured members (active and retirees), beneficiaries of insured members,attorney’s, funeral homes/funding companies, social workers/nursing homes, local and unit officers,CSEA staff, and insurance broker via telephone and written correspondence concerning groupinsurances (application, cancellation, direct bill payments, etc.).2. Processes daily mail and correspondence. Monitors and responds to inquiries received viadepartment email, fax and voice mail.3. Ensures term life insurance applications are complete and all required documents have beenreceived.4. Processes term life insurance applications and generates notice to payroll.5. Proc...
