Looking for a Medical Assistant to join our Intake team. Primary Responsibilities: β’ Patient Intake: Checking vitals and rooming patients. β’ Insurance Verification: Confirm insurance eligibility and verify coverage for new patients in compliance with California health insurance requirements. β’ Patient Information Management: Accurately obtain and document patient eligibility, coverage, benefits, and authorization information from insurance carriers β’ Records Maintenance: Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient demographic information in compliance with regulatory and insurance carrier requirements. Report any discrepancies to the supervisor or manager. β’ Client Communication: Respond to incoming calls and emails from prospective and current patients with professionalism and accuracy.
