Our client BAE Systems is currently seeking an Integration Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based at the MISC Facility, Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth. This position involves hybrid arrangements, requiring you to be fully on-site. The duration of the contract is 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the UK MOD test and integration facility
• Testing new pieces of equipment to ensure functionality
• Maintaining the facility to ensure it is operational
• Overseeing GFE and servers owned by the MOD
• Installing firewalls and modifying networks
• Managing cabling requirements
• Applying patches and updates
• Monitoring server parametrics, including heat output
• Recalculating room changes based on parametric data
• Monitoring equipment, logging data, and analysing trends and patterns
