What You'll Do Avalara is seeking an Intercompany Accounting Lead to join our global accounting team. We're looking for an AI first professional, equal parts technologist and accountant, who doesn't just use automation but builds it, bringing deep expertise in US GAAP intercompany accounting, multi-currency transactions, and FX impact analysis. The Lead will ensure the accuracy and integrity of intercompany balances, journal entries, and consolidated reporting across our global entity structure. Reporting to the Global Accounting Manager, the Lead will also support cross-functional collaboration and AI-driven process improvement, acting as a JE preparer or approver as needed.
