Responsibilities

Human Factors (HF) Specialists apply the knowledge of human capabilities and limitations to the design of systems and equipment.

Human Factors Engineering ensures that the system and design are compatible with the sensory, perceptual, cognitive and physical attributes of the personnel who operate, maintain and support the system.

HF Specialists work as part of multi-discipline teams to analyze information and evaluate existing and proposed designs under the following frameworks: CNSC G-276, CNSC G-278, NUREG...
