Your Role

We are seeking an Intermediate Human Factors Engineer for our Pickering, ON office.

Responsibilities

• Human Factors (HF) Specialists apply the knowledge of human capabilities and limitations to the design of systems and equipment.
• Human Factors Engineering ensures that the system and design are compatible with the sensory, perceptual, cognitive and physical attributes of the personnel who operate, maintain and support the system.
• HF Specialists work as part of multi‑discipline teams to analyze information and evaluate existing and proposed designs under the following frameworks: CNSC G-276, CNSC G-278, NUREG 0711 and CSA N290.12.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or Science specializing in Human Factors Engineering or related discipline (e.g., systems engineering).
