Intermediate Roadway Designer

Location: Brampton, Markham, London, or Hamilton, ON.

Job Description

As part of the Transportation team based in Ontario, you will design and oversee roadway and highway projects across multiple municipalities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary design reports (PDR), design criteria, preliminary and detailed designs for divided highways, arterial regional roads, collector roads, and local roads.
• Develop preliminary designs for CADD staff and review drawings for compliance with applicable industry and client standards.
• Create Contract Specifications, Tender Documents, and Applications for Agency Approvals.
• Review and issue finalized Shop Drawings.
• Coordinate and mentor junior staff within the division.
