Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to test, tune and do basic troubleshooting of complex, multi-function, RF/microwave microelectronic assemblies.
You are responsible for
Testing, tuning and basic troubleshooting of complex, multi-function, integrated RF/microwave microelectronic assemblies (IMAs) in a clean room environment.Tuning RF devices (using stubs, manipulating bonds, add/subtract resistance, shortening/lengthening inductor coils, etc.)Tuning for noise figure and VSWR/insertion loss/gainPerforming basic troubleshooting while developing deeper troubleshooting skills Check the units for correct bondingIdentify RF shortsIdentify problem location (e.g. driver board, RF side)Understand assembly process to identify shorts/opens in epoxy, bleed out.
