JOB SUMMARY

A data science intern is a trainee who wants to gain working experience in the field of data science. They assist data scientists in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data sets to drive optimization and improvement of product development. Data science interns develop custom data models and algorithms, and coordinate with functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and analyze patterns in data volume, type, and collection speed.
• Educate the organization, from IT and business perspectives, on new approaches such as hypothesis testing and statistical validation of results.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support data collection, integration, and retention requirements based on business inputs.
• Build dashboards using tools like Power BI.
• Conduct basic data analysis.
