Provides a hospital-wide patient transport service. Responsible for receiving and prioritizing patient transport requests from inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and urgent care services. Works closely and collaboratively with patients, families, and staff for safe and effective hand-offs, while providing exceptional customer service for best patient experience. Coordinates written, verbal, and technological communication from clinical staff to optimize flow throughout the hospital.

**Required Education and Experience**
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Minimum one (1) year experience in fast paced, customer service related field.

**Required Credentials**
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.

**Preferred**
College Degree (AA).
One (1) year experience in a health care setting or related field.
One (1) year experience in direct patient contact situations.

**Compensation Range**

$21.30 - $30.33 per hour
