Internship Opportunities

You can perform medical internships at Kainuu Central Hospital in the fields of emergency medicine, anesthesiology and intensive care, internal medicine, surgery, psychiatry, radiology, and pediatrics.

We hope you apply for internships in the specialty you have completed a course in.

Internship Duration

Internships last about one month. Two-week rotations are available in internal medicine and surgical outpatient clinics for each specialty.

Requirements

• At least three years of medical studies completed.
• Fluent Finnish language skills in speaking and writing.
• Good written and spoken Finnish skills are required.
• Proactiveness, good communication skills, and motivation.
