Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist to join Geisinger Lewistown Hospital in central Pennsylvania. This is a 100% IR opportunity with no diagnostic radiology responsibilities, no after-hours call, and a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule. The role offers the autonomy to help grow a community-based IR practice while remaining connected to the resources, stability, and clinical support of Geisinger’s systemwide radiology program.
Job Duties
+ 100% Interventional Radiology practice
+ No diagnostic radiology responsibilities
+ No after-hours call
+ 7-on/7-off schedule, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM Eastern
+ Hospital-employed position with systemwide IR support
+ Current volume of approximately 5–6 procedures per day, with planned growth as access and services expand
+ Case mix of approximately 60% outpatient and 40% inpatient
+ On-site APP, experienced technologists, and dedicated nursing support
