Main areas of focus and accountability of the role
Inventory Control & Accuracy: Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure alignment with physical stock. Conduct daily cycle counts, weekly checks, and full physical stock takes. Investigate inventory discrepancies promptly and provide root‑cause analysis with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Monitor inventory aging, stock rotations (FIFO/FEFO), and shelf‑life controls as required by customers.
Data & Systems Management: Ensure all system transactions (receipts, put‑away, transfers, picks, and dispatches) are completed accurately and within the required timeframe. Generate inventory‑related reports for internal reviews and customer reporting—daily, weekly, and monthly. Identify system issues and collaborate with IT/WMS support teams to resolve them.
