**Job Description**

This role supports a large service and repair shop for compressors, valves, and other rotating equipment by managing inventory and materials throughout the facility. The inventory technician moves manufactured parts using forklifts, overhead cranes, and manual handling, oversees shipping and receiving through computer-based inventory systems, and organizes the shop to ensure efficient workflow for skilled trades colleagues. This position reports directly to operations leadership and focuses on material handling and inventory management rather than general janitorial or helper duties.
