2. Deep Understanding of Valuation Techniques
- Comparable company analysis (Comps)
- Precedent transactions
- Discounted cash flow (DCF)
3. Real Investment Banking Experience
- Experience in M&A, ECM, or advisory roles
- Exposure to live deals, not just theory
4. Advanced Excel, Power BI & Power Point Skills
- Excel: shortcuts, model structuring, error-checking
- Power BI: Basic Washboarding
- Power Point: pitch decks, CIMs, investor presentations
5. Deal Process Knowledge
- Pitching → Mandate → Due diligence → Negotiation → Closing
