Position Overview

Summary The ISOU Flight Registered Nurse serves as a Medical Aircrew Member, providing in-flight, ground, and sea medical care during ICE missions and DHS operations. Responsibilities include emergency response, patient care, and supporting IHSC facilities. The role requires advanced nursing expertise, adaptability in austere environments, frequent travel, and readiness for rapid deployment domestically and globally. This position is only open to USPHS officers and Call to Active Duty (CAD) candidates. Responsibilities DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Incumbent's primary duties are to serve as a flight nurse and a program manager. Operate as a Medical Aircrew Member and First Responder during ICE removal missions and provide direct patient care for individuals in ICE custody, IHSC clinics, or during DHS missions in accordance with agency procedures, nursing guidelines, and/or clinical protocols.
