Be the principal engineer on his/her area of knowledge taking responsibility for the entire solution in complex environment.
Design solutions in his/her area of knowledge following Global Standards or creating regional ones when required.
Be the higher‑level support for problem solving in case of serious outage or major incidents where contracted resources do not have enough expertise or experience.
Ensure that support teams have necessary expertise for their jobs assessing them, providing necessary documentation and knowledge transfer.
Assess periodically current technologies and solutions and evaluate better options based on market best practices or Goodyear specifics.
Lead other technicians by example of teamwork, good quality deliverables, responsive support and great accountability for the company’s results.
