Description

The IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement, tracking, and lifecycle of all IT assets across the organization. This role ensures accurate documentation, proper assignment and recovery of assets, compliance with company policies, and optimization of asset utilization and spend.

Responsibilities:


+ Coordinate the purchase of IT hardware and software in alignment with business needs and budget

+ Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal

+ Maintain accurate records of asset assignments to employees, contractors, and departments

+ Update asset records when items are reassigned, replaced, or returned

+ Log all new assets into the asset management database upon receipt
