Prepares detailed test specifications from which programs will tested and evaluated. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs. Competent to work at the most phases of applications systems analysis. May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project. Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced analyst/programmers.

Education/Work Experience: Typically requires a degree and 2-4 years experience; or no degree and 6-8 years combined education and equivalent work experience (typically 1 year experience = 1 year education).
