About the Role

This role provides critical IT support services across Silver Fern Farms’ Pacific plant in Hastings. You will be responsible for supporting a wide range of technologies including hardware, applications, site production systems, CCTV, physical and software security systems, telephony, and networking infrastructure. While specialist teams provide expertise across these platforms, this position acts as the site’s frontline IT support, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and users receive excellent service. You will also help support the IT aspects of Operational Technology (OT) systems that underpin key production processes, working alongside site engineers and operational teams. This is a hands‑on role supporting both office‑based and manufacturing environments, so you’ll be comfortable working directly with users and spending time on the processing floor.
