Position Overview

            About the job IT System Admin (Shipping) Management of IT systems, encompassing workstations and servers 
Set up workstations and accounts. 
Keep an eye on performance and make necessary system maintenance 
Investigate problems and disruptions 
Use firewalls, backups, and access controls to ensure security. 
Update systems with the latest models and releases. 
Assemble knowledge to instruct employees in new technologies 
Create an internal wiki containing IT policies, manuals, and technical documentation. 
Microsoft Office 365 Cloud hosting options, like Amazon Cloud or Microsoft Azure. 
Familiarity with maintaining and administering MS SQL Server database systems 
Experience with ships and the shipping industry is preferred. 
Certification as an MCSE or CCNA is preferred.
