IT User Support Specialist - Earth Sciences

This position sits within the NIWA business unit of Earth Sciences New Zealand.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver responsive, user‑focused support: Provide timely, high‑quality support by setting up and maintaining devices and access, resolving issues efficiently, and keeping users informed throughout.
• Contribute to a collaborative team: Share knowledge, strengthen communication, and support continuous improvement in a positive, service‑focused environment.
• Enable efficient service delivery: Prioritise workload, follow processes, maintain accurate documentation, and deliver remote‑first support with onsite assistance as needed.
