Job Coach – Education, Training and Research

Location: Calgary, AB

Position Status: One (1) Full-time (40 hours/week), One Year Contract (with possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities

• Establish rapport, screen clients for job readiness, and provide one‑on‑one and group assistance to clients looking for employment.
• Review labour market information and assist clients in conducting occupational research that identifies and clarifies a suitable career goal.
• Work with clients to develop an individual action plan leading to employment and clearly communicate the client eligibility criteria for the options suitable for the client’s employment goals.
• Assess skills for clients (i.e. transferable skills, essential skills, and other industry specific skills) and assist clients in tailoring their resumes to different job roles.
