The key responsibilities will include:
-Germplasm collection, evaluation & characterization based on different geography/segment of the business states-Ability to conduct Grow out test for genetic purity & sound knowledge of morphological characters of various crops.-Master in Basic Hybridization techniques in Field crops, & vegetables.-Skilled in molecular marker development & screening of germplasm & their standardization to identify genotypes.-Basic knowledge of Statistics & Data analysis-Good knowledge of Design experiments like CRD, RBD, LSD & Split plot designs-Maintenance of pedigree record of all the germplasm-Help the marketing team in defining the USP of various private label products based on morphological characters.-Influence and engage with key stakeholders to gather information and drive action in a highly collaborative manner.-Regular interface with operations team to understand current challenges and provide instant solutio...
