Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on legislation, case law, and legal precedents.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, notices, affidavits, and correspondence.
- Issue, serve, and file legal documents at the Magistrate's Court, High Court, and other relevant tribunals.
- Attend consultations with clients and counsel, taking accurate minutes and notes.
- Assist admitted attorneys with trial preparation, indexing, and paginating of court bundles.
- Manage diary schedules, ensuring all court dates, prescription dates, and deadlines are closely monitored.
- Perform general administrative duties and practice management tasks as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Completed LLB degree from a recognized South African university (or currently in the final year of study).
