Key Responsibilities


  • Manage a debtor's book of approximately R5 million

  • Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain strong debtor relationships

  • Ensure customer orders are released within agreed credit terms

  • Maintain and reconcile the age analysis

  • Manage a large portfolio of COD customers (approximately 50% of sales)

  • Process new credit applications, including credit bureau checks, trade reference checks and ensuring all required documentation is obtained

  • Process credit notes accurately and timeously

  • Assist with invoicing when required

  • Update daily cash flow reports

  • Prepare and submit weekly debtor reports to management
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' Credit Control experience

  • Previous experience managing a debtor's book
