Northview is seeking a dedicated 4th Class Power Engineer in Iqaluit, NU. This rotational-based role focuses on ensuring heating system reliability through compliance and routine maintenance.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will conduct necessary monitoring and maintenance activities. Collaborate with certified Oil Heat Systems Technicians and licensed Plumbers to address operational issues. Your role includes logging operational data while promoting safety procedures to maintain high standards across all systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and conduct maintenance on heating systems and boilers
• Perform lubrication, inspections, and filter replacements
• Assist with mechanical upkeep and issues within scope
• Ensure proper documentation of safety and operational compliance
• Travel to support community operations as required
