This Sous Chef role blends culinary expertise with leadership, training kitchen staff and ensuring adherence to Horizon North’s safety protocols. You'll engage in menu planning and oversee food preparation, all while enjoying a beneficial work-life balance on a 20 days on, 10 days off schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, present, and design quality menus
• Supervise productivity and adherence to policies
• Lead staff training and development initiatives
• Use FOODSAFE and HACCP methods effectively
• Handle bi-weekly inventory assessments
Requirements:
• Interprovincial Red Seal Certification required
• Minimum of 10 years in hospitality/food service
