Journeyperson Mechanic - Automotive or Heavy Duty

SOUTHLAND is currently seeking a Journeyperson Mechanic to join our team of maintenance professionals in Lethbridge, AB. This role is responsible for servicing and repairing SOUTHLAND school buses in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. The mechanic may be required to perform field work on down buses.

Duties

• Ongoing maintenance/repair of buses
• Diagnosing equipment problems
• CVIP Inspections
• Respond to breakdowns
• Spring and winter maintenance
• Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs
• Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities
• Follow SOUTHLAND procedures and guidelines
