The Role: Junior Buyer

What will you do?

Functional Expertise:

• Procures materials to meet customer requirements at an optimal cost while and schedules supplier deliveries based on requirements.
• Maintains lot sizes, period of supply, planning bill demand, lead time and minimum order quantities with suppliers.
• Supports the phase-out/in of products to avoid obsolete inventory.
• Obtains supplier quotations as required, notifies suppliers of engineering changes to drawings/specifications and provides suppliers with forecast and open order information.
• Ensures that all released Purchase Orders are sent to suppliers and are confirmed following the required turn-around time.
• Resolves invoice issues, coordinates with Procurement Manager/Counterparts on the reasons of the discrepancy, adjusts system information when necessary...
