Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar Relevant technical certificate (N6 or higher) may be considered Experience 1–3 years in a construction estimating or QS environment Exposure to tendering and BOQ preparation advantageous Site experience a bonus Technical Skills Proficient in MS Excel Familiarity with estimating software (CCS Candy, Build Smart, or similar) Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications Basic understanding of construction methods and materials Soft Skills Attention to detail Numerically strong Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Good written and verbal communication Team player willing to learn Key Tasks Assisting senior estimators with tender pricing Compiling BOQs and material take-offs Requesting and comparing supplier/subcontractor quotes Updating pricing databases Supporting bid submissions #J-18808-Ljbffr
