Position Overview

            Minimum requirements: 
  A relevant agricultural qualification will be a strong advantage 
23 years experience in avocado or macadamia or banana farming 
Strong understanding of orchard management practices 
Good communication and people management skills 
Willingness to work hands-on and lead by example 
Valid driver's license and own transport 
Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English 
Responsibilities will include the following:   
Assist the Farm Manager with the day-to-day operations of the farm 
Supervise field staff and seasonal workers 
Monitor the health and development of avocado or macadamia orchards 
Oversee irrigation, fertilization, and pest control programs 
Maintain accurate records of farm activities and production
