Position Overview
About the role: We are looking for a Junior Desktop Support Engineer to provide first-level technical assistance to end-users. This entry-level position focuses on basic troubleshooting, hardware/software setup, and supporting IT operations under supervision. Key Responsibilities: Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and other approved desktop applications. Perform basic hardware moves and changes Asset disposal Maintain inventory record for end-of-life assets. Manage hardware disposal tasks including physical hard drive removal from workstations. Support printers, computer hardware, and peripheral devices (basic troubleshooting and setup). Perform routine maintenance on desktops, laptops, and printers. Handle password resets and basic user account tasks in Active Directory. Respond to support tickets and escalate complex issues to senior engineers or Tier 2/3 teams.
