Sewell Wallis are partnered with a global engineering business based in Retford who are looking for a Junior Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their friendly Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with finance administration experience who is keen to build a long-term career within accounts.
Working alongside an experienced team, you'll receive full training and gain exposure to all aspects of the purchase ledger function, playing a key role in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
What will you be doing?
Processing supplier invoices and ensuring they are accurately recorded.
Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies.
Assisting with maintaining supplier accounts and responding to supplier queries.
Reconciling supplier statements and helping resolve outstanding items.
Supporting payment runs, including multi-currency payments.
Assisting with daily bank reconciliations.
