Junior Python Developer

My client is a multi-strategy hedge fund, looking to add a talented Junior Python Developer to their Cambridge-based development team. You will be contributing to the design, development and maintenance of their proprietary backtesting and analytics platform. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the core functionalities of the platform using Python, and you will conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure stability and reliability.

What's required for this Junior Python Developer position?

MSc/PhD in a STEM discipline

Strong Python development proficiency 

Experience with Python libraries - NumPy, Pandas, Polars etc

Bonus: Knowledge of financial markets or quantitative finance concepts
