Our Gisborne team is looking for 2 x Kaitohu Matua | Senior Advisor. These roles report to the Manukura | Team Leader, Gisborne and are permanent, full‑time opportunities.

Compensation

The likely appointment range is $105,100 - $116,777 based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead work with whānau, hapū, iwi, Māori organisations and communities to deliver initiatives that strengthen long‑term social and economic outcomes for Māori.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with PSGEs and other Māori entities, acting as a key conduit between Te Puni Kōkiri, Māori communities and partners.
• Analyse local insights on Māori views, aspirations and experiences to inform policy thinking.
• Provide high‑quality advice to the Minister’s Office.
• Mentor and coach Advisors across the region.
