Position Overview

The Kinésiologue – Maladies Chroniques is a temporary, 0.60 FTE position supporting the Primary Care Program’s outreach to clients with chronic disease or at risk of developing such conditions. The role implements exercise and lifestyle modification programs, delivers one‑on‑one behavioural counseling, and collaborates with a health care team to promote prevention, assessment, and intervention for chronic disease management.

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Kinesiologist working with chronic disease populations, addressing risks and safety of physical activity and applying clinical exercise physiology.
• Experience assessing health and fitness levels and prescribing exercise interventions.
• Experience providing individualized behavioural counseling for adult lifestyle change.
