Our Westblock location is hiring for an experienced Kitchen Helper to help fuel the journeys of our curious, growing minds.

What will you do?

• Ensuring a clean, sanitized environment, including washing, drying dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, and cutting boards; mopping and sweeping kitchen areas as required.
• Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Label and date open packages in fridge & freezer practicing FIFO.
• Prepare, season, and cook food as directed, meeting allergy and dietary requirements where required.
• Be mindful of proper portion sizes served to children.
• Be hands‑on in the prevention of choking hazards.
• Follow the Canada Food Guide to ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain kitchen cleaning log.
• Disinfect practices & products – know correct ppm.
• Know and practice proper hand‑washing procedures.
