Position Overview

            Job Description

Lead by example, working alongside the porter team during shifts
Delegate daily duties and ensure tasks are completed to the required standard
Provide guidance, coaching, and on‑the‑job training to new and existing porters
Conduct pre‑shift briefings when required and maintain clear communication
Monitor porter performance and report any concerns to management
Comply with all Health and Safety at Work regulations, including COSHH and Manual Handling, and attend all required training sessions
Maintain consistently high standards of personal hygiene and grooming
Assist in preparing and distributing operating equipment for functions, inventories, and other requirements
Oversee cleaning and dishwashing operations during service
Ensure all back‑of‑house areas (dish wash, pot wash, bin areas, stores, locker rooms, corridors, event spaces) remain clean, safe, and well‑organised
