Background

Iskwewak Awetowak Nipocawin (Women Leading Knowledge) is a brand‑new Research Institute dedicated to supporting research and policy development for the health and well‑being of Indigenous women, girls, Two‑Spirit and gender‑diverse kin. The Institute supports low‑barrier research for Indigenous community members and welcomes community‑led projects. We also have ongoing core intersectional and interdisciplinary research projects. Our work is guided by deep care and our responsibilities to our relations, past, present, and future.

• Support the development of research projects and research activities.
