KS1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Handsworth, B20

Pay Rate: £110 - 120 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Monday - Friday, long‑term temp to perm.

Long Term Futures are recruiting for a patient, resilient and passionate Teaching Assistant who can provide support across Key Stage 1 classrooms for a welcoming and caring school based in Handsworth, Birmingham, accessible from Birmingham City Centre. This position is a long‑term role and for the right candidate there is an opportunity to become permanent. The school is looking for a proactive, accommodating and positive person who is looking to excel and become a crucial part of their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils' academic progress as well as their emotional wellbeing and personal development
• Assist with targeted interventions in Phonics, Maths and Reading
• Provide occasional PPA cover, leading the class in the absence of the teacher
