Job Summary
We are looking for a Java Application Support Engineer to support and maintain Java J2EE applications within a dynamic production environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in application support or developers who are keen to transition into support functions while strengthening their technical expertise in Java, Unix/Linux, and SQL. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, support batch processes, monitor system performance, and ensure application stability while meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
The ideal candidate is a proactive and eager learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Exposure to banking systems, middleware technologies, and production support tools will be an added advantage.
