Mainly involved in labor-management relations, proposes and monitors the company's labor relations policies, including collective bargaining agreements. Ensures compliance with HR-related legal and regulatory guidelines from local labor law and/or corporate. Responsible for administering grievance procedures. Manages union relationships in the plant and creates a healthy labor environment for both salaried and union employees. Oversees the plant labor relations team according to the HR Manager and/or HR Director. Assists in achieving or beating budgetary objectives in support of top quartile performance while maintaining appropriate levels of HR delivery service. Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
