As a Laboratory Assistant - LHSC (Float) , you are responsible for processing blood samples and other laboratory specimens, entering requisitions and results accurately and in a timely manner. You also play an important role in providing customer service to create the best possible patient experience. These scenarios can be stressful for patients, and you need to display empathy, care, and kindness. Testing results are often critical for patients, and you are there to help and make an impact on their lives.

Status: Full time (37.5 h /week)

Hours of Work: Various, Mon - Fri, between 7.30am - 4.30pm

Location: Coverage at South Okanagan LHSCs: West Kelowna, Peachland, Penticton, Keremeos, Osoyoos

Discipline: LHSC

Workstyle: 100% onsite
